How to Join

Qualifications

Membership is open to anyone who has no children and has never parented, including those who:

1. have chosen not to have children
2. haven't decided yet
3. intend to have children in the future
4. weren't able to have children.

All adults meeting the above criteria, regardless of gender, age, color, race, ethnicity, cultural or linguistic background, marital status, or political, sexual or religious orientation, are invited to join and may attend any event.

Membership Cards

There are currently no membership cards since there are no fees for membership (see below).

Costs/Fees

For the moment, Boston No Kidding! has minimal costs; therefore, there is no membership fee. If this should change, we'll conjure up ways to raise money.

Note that many events/activities require money for participation, e.g., each person pays for the food eaten at dinners and brunches.

Joining the group

Prospective members may join the Boston No Kidding! Hey Let's Go group or may e-mail a request to boston@nokidding.net.

Participation

Members are encouraged to participate by either attending events or sponsoring their own events. We prefer face-to-face contact -- chatter on the activities mailing list is not considered participation.

Polls/Voting

Your input counts! Check out Member comments to enter your vote for various questions/solicitations, including where to go for future events, your age, where you live, etc. This helps sponsors plan for appropriate and interesting events.

Since there are no membership fees or cards, it is difficult to know exactly how many people are involved with Boston No Kidding!. There are about 200 people on the electronic mailing list.
